From brainstorming content ideas to cataloging posts and images, sometimes social media planning can feel like a daunting task for any small business owner or entrepreneur. There are a million and one things to get done on any given day and sometimes social media can get pushed to the side in lieu of more immediate tasks.
Earlier this year I was asked to speak at a conference to help demystify social media for people who don’t have hours on end to pour into their online presence. Preparing the presentation forced me to really look at my process for managing social for my clients and answer questions about how I organize, plan, and batch-schedule content to create a hands-off management process for them and keep things from getting overwhelming on my end.
Throughout building the presentation I compiled many of my favorite tips, resources and tools for keeping on top of social media and talked about how I organize and plan content for various clients. As I worked through developing my slide deck I often shared about it on my instagram stories and had several people reach out and ask follow-up questions about what I was doing, how I was doing it and asking for tips on how they could streamline their own processes.
After a few months of tweaking, re-working, brainstorming and redesigning the original presentation we’re so excited to share the launch of our social media planning guide and workbook!
The workbook is full of my personal “best practices” for staying on top of your presence on social. There are tons of great resources and approaches out there when it comes to managing social and this e-book represents my cumulative knowledge from lots of reading, trial and error, and 3 or 4 years of cuing up social content for my clients.
I will dive into the “how” and “why” of our planning process and show you how to build a bank full of focused content. This approach means you never have to stress about what you’re going to post TODAY because you always know there’s something wonderful waiting in that database, truly a weight lifted!
As corny and elementary as it sounds, our book is designed to help you pin down the “who – what – where – when- why” of your social media approach.
We’ve included some print-at-home resources as well as links to a few of the templates we use in Google Drive to help corral content and make batch scheduling your content easier!
You’ll be able to read up on topics like
DEVELOPING A STRATEGY
CALENDARS + SCHEDULING
